Job role / duties

• Work with materials such as model board, aluminium & steel.
• Deal with any issues that arise in relation to machine programming and operating, adjusting where necessary
• Operate Siemens & Heidenheim controllers
• Use CMS Area 3618 5-axis, Dugard, Mte and Hurco machines
• Work with 3D CAD models and use Power Mill CAM software
• Work in line with machine capability to meet customer quality expectations.
• Liaise with colleagues and customers to ensure jobs are completed in the timeframe and quality parameters required
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Maintaining and promoting safe working practices within the department, including the correct operation of tools, equipment and PPE.

To be considered you MUST

• Have at least 5 years experience in this job role
• Have proficiency with Power Mill cam software
• Have experience as outlined in the duties
• Be used to workig to deadline
• Be able to read and understand drawings
• Able to read and understand drawings and work with 3D CAD models
• Be able to work unsupervised at times
• Have excellent verbal & written communication skills
