As a CNC Programmer, your responsibilities will include:

• Set, operate and programme CNC milling machines using ONECNC and on-machine programming techniques
• Complete a variety of machining tasks, from roughing through to precision finishing
• Select and maintain cutting and drilling tools, escalating wear issues where required
• Carry out inspection and measurement tasks in line with quality procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and support a clean, organised working environment to ISO 9001:2015 standards
• Carry out minor routine maintenance and support planned maintenance activities

As a CNC Programmer, your experience will include:

• Qualified through an Engineering Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, Level 3 NVQ or BTEC
• Proven experience operating CNC milling, turning and grinding equipment
• Experience programming CNC machines, ideally using Heidenhain or Fanuc controls
• Confident using Verniers, micrometres and other manual measurement equipment
• Background in precision engineering or manufacturing environments
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical, organised approach to work
