CNC Production Programmer

An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a skilled Production Programmer to join their team at a key production site. This is a hands-on role focused on creating and modifying CNC machine programmes in line with technical drawings and production requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient workflow, accurate programming, and on-time delivery for customers. Key Responsibilities: Creating CNC programmes using designated software Interpreting engineering drawings and manually programming where required Using basic 2D CAD to check geometry and dimensions Managing CNC machine schedules and monitoring job progress Liaising with internal departments to ensure production targets and delivery deadlines are met Quoting lead times for sections/fittings Maintaining accurate production records and documentation Supporting traceability through batch number monitoring Requirements: Proven experience programming CNC machines Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Basic 2D CAD knowledge Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to work closely with production and commercial teams This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing business where you can make a real impact within a supportive team environment. ..... full job details .....
