Cnc Operator

CNC Operator – Night Shift: GPW is working with a well-established manufacturing client who is looking to recruit CNC Operators to join their growing CNC department. Role Overview

• Select and operate CNC machinery using approved job sheet programmes
• Check, verify, and adjust programmes where required using WoodWop software
• Set up tooling and enter tool dimensions into the machine database
• Ensure products are manufactured to the required quality and tolerance standards
• Carry out safety checks and complete production documentation
• Report machine faults, defects, and production issues promptly
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and production efficiency

Requirements

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of WoodWop software
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Reliable with good communication and organisational skills

Desirable

• Experience with 5S or lean manufacturing initiatives
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Basic machine fault-finding and preventative maintenance experience
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop

Shift & Pay Night Shift

• Monday – Thursday
• 20:00 – 06:00
• 36 paid hours per week

Pay Rates

• £20.13 per hour
• Annual salary equivalent: £37,683.36
