Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join their growing team in Andover. Working: Monday - Thursday: 8AM - 5PM Friday: 8AM - 2:30PM Salary: 15 - 18 Per Hour (Overtime available) Responsibilities: Program, set and operate CNC machines Produce high quality machined parts in accordance with work instructions and drawings Maintain a clean and safe working area, ensuring that all Health and Safety procedures are followed Work as part of the team to support colleagues as well as the needs of the business, with a focus on continual improvements Requirements: Strong mechanical knowledge and an understanding of CNC turning processes Understanding of FANUC controllers and their functions in CNC 2 axis lathes Strong maths and problem-solving skills Ability to read technical drawings and work specifications/instructions Ability to effectively use hand tools for machine setup and maintenance Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to work to set procedures Excellent time management skills to work effectively to tight deadlines Keen eye for detail and quality mindset Please call Charlotte on (phone number ..... full job details .....
