Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join their growing team in Andover.

Working:

Monday - Thursday:-8AM - 5PM
Friday:-8AM - 2:30PM
Salary:15 - -18 Per Hour (Overtime available)

Responsibilities:

• Program, set and operate CNC machines
• Produce high quality machined parts in accordance with work instructions and drawings
• Maintain a clean and safe working area, ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Work as part of the team to support colleagues as well as the needs of the business, with a focus on continual improvements

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and an understanding of CNC turning processes
• Understanding of FANUC controllers and their functions in CNC 2 axis lathes
• Strong maths and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read technical drawings and work specifications/instructions
• Ability to effectively use hand tools for machine setup and maintenance
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to work to set procedures
• Excellent time management skills to work effectively to tight deadlines
• Keen eye for detail and quality mindset
