CNC Miller Setter/OperatorJob Description:We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our clients growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of CNC milling machines, ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet strict industry specifications.Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate 3/4/5 axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls- Produce complex components from a range of materials, adhering to quality standards- Collaborate with engineers and other manufacturing personnel to achieve efficient and accurate machining operations- Attend SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People) meetings to contribute to process improvements- Ensure production meets planned set and run times and quality requirements- Communicate any issues or deviations from the planned process- Assist in maintaining a well-organised and efficient work environmentRequired Skills and Experience:- Demonstrated experience setting up and operating 3/4/5 axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls- Proficiency in producing high-complexity components from a variety of materials- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and use various inspection equipment (e.g. micrometers, verniers, plug gauges)- Strong understanding of manufacturing techniques and a commitment to quality- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively- Previous experience in the aerospace industry ..... full job details .....
