Impact Recruitment are recruiting for an Experienced CNC Miller setter / operator to join our client, a well-established precision engineering company based in Northamptonshire.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller looking for a new challenge within a growing business that specialises in high-value and technically demanding CNC milling and turning applications.The company supplies components to a wide range of industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Oil and Gas and General Engineering, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work on varied and technically interesting projects.Salary: 16.00phr - 20.00phr (depending on work experience)Hours: Mon - Thurs 8:30am - 17:30pm Fri 8:30am-13:30pm Employment: PermanentWhat you''ll be doing:Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.Working with Fanuc controlsCarrying out online and offline programming and making programme adjustments where required.Working with 3 - 5 axis milling machinesReading and working from engineering drawings.Ensuring components are manufactured accurately and to specification.Carrying out quality checks throughout the machining process.Troubleshooting machining issues and making adjustments where necessary.Working independently and using your own initiative to complete jobs efficiently.
