Hales Group are recruiting for an experienced Lead CNC Machinist / Shift Leader to join our client based in Lowestoft, Suffolk. Working on a rotating shift pattern, you will play a key role in supporting workshop operations, ensuring production targets are achieved, quality standards are maintained, and team members are supported throughout the shift.Key ResponsibilitiesCNC MachiningManufacture precision-engineered components using CNC and manual machining techniquesSet, operate and adjust CNC milling and turning machinesEdit CNC programs in line with engineering drawings and production requirementsCarry out machine set-ups, tooling changes and programme prove-outsRead and interpret technical drawings and specificationsConduct inspections and quality checks to ensure parts meet required standardsSupport assembly and workshop activities where requiredShift LeadershipAct as the senior point of contact within the workshop during your shiftSupport, guide and mentor team members to maintain productivity and qualityAssist in coordinating daily workshop activities and workflowHelp ensure production schedules and delivery targets are achievedProvide ..... full job details .....
