CNC Machinist

An automotive component manufacturer based in Witham are looking for a CNC Machinist who would be keen on programming, setting and operating a 6 axis Robot. The hourly rate is up to 20.40ph and the hours are 1.30pm to 12 midnight Monday to Friday.Robot Cell Setter / Operator duties:-Responsible for operating and setting of the robot cellProgramming and proving out new components on a 6 axis KUKA KRC2 Robot cell from master panelsWork with a variety of metals including aluminium, carbon fibre, and epoxy tool boardsWorking closely with the rest of the machine shop to deliver on timeResponsble for setting and operating 3 axis verticle machine centreSetting and operating 5-axis universal machining centresDeburring and manually finishing partsResponsible for the cutting and preparing of materialsThe right person for the role with have a good understanding of the following:-Haas and fanuc controlsGood understanding of machining and programming techniquesHave a strong engineering backgroundKeen eye on detailBe flexible with the work you are doing across the machine shopThis is a temporary to permanent role, working for a company with a full order book until the early 2030''s, so it''s an exciting time to join them.If you have good experience of setting and operating CNC machines, please apply!If you have any questions about the job or the company, please call Prime Appointments and ask for Simon. ..... full job details .....
