What You Will Do:- Operate CNC machines to manufacture tooling for composite components, including epoxy boards, carbon composite parts, and jigs and fixtures.- Work with a variety of materials, such as aluminium, steel, and other metals, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.- Set up components efficiently, using holding and turnover fixtures or plates, while ensuring optimal machine performance and cycle times.- Measure tooling and components accurately using micrometers, verniers, and other precision tools.- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, performing preventative maintenance on CNC machines and ensuring maximum efficiency.- Collaborate with the CNC Team Leader to align on priorities, materials, and support needed to achieve project timelines.
