Responsible for the security of all Joint Clinical RandD Core Services files.Process the payment of and raising new invoices etc through use of SBS, or oversee journaling of funds between cost centres, relating to grant funding applications and DTARS.Process expense claims or payments for bank hours if needed.Actively participate in all meetings relating to clinical research.Represent Joint Clinical RandD Core Services at both internal and external meetings.Person specification
Education/QualificationsEssential criteriaEducated to A-level standard (or equivalent)Commitment to continued professional development.Desirable criteriaHigher degree qualification (e.g. BSc) in a relevant subjectExperienceEssential criteriaSignificant experience of working in an administrative environment.Experience of working in clinical research administration.Experience of working with staff from a range of backgrounds and different levels of seniority.Experience in data entry and validation.Desirable criteriaExperience of working in an NHS or HEI environmentExperience of the EDGE clinical research database.Skills / knowledgeEssential criteriaAbility to work constructively as an individual; as part of a closeknit team; and as part of a wider research community.Excellent IT literacy: evidence of competence with MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Access.Strong numeracy skills.Knowledge of the regulatory framework for conducting clinical research, and requirements for site and sponsor level approvals.Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload.Excellent attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.Excellent communication skills, written and verbalThe Royal Marsden values diversity and is committed to the recruitment and retention of underrepresented minority groups.
