Cleaner

Great opportunity to work as a Cleaner for our client - an industry-leading, customer-focused, long-distance train operator that customers trust to meet their needs.

Staffline is recruiting Cleaners in Newcastle.

The rate of pay is £13.07 per hour.

This is a full-time role working shifts ranging from 6am to 2pm.

Your Time at Work

As a Cleaner, your duties include but are not limited to:

- General cleaning of trains, both in transit and turnaround
- Waste collection and disposal
- Floor cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing)
- Window and glass cleaning
- Disinfection of high-touch surfaces
- Replenishment of cleaning supplies (soap, hand towels, toilet paper)
- Deep cleaning tasks as required
- Any other cleaning duties as specified by the client

Please note this is an active role, so applicants will be happy to be on their feet for the duration of the shift.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will show you are reliable, have good attention to detail, be adaptable, and have a strong work ethic. You will have a strong understanding of train routes and be able to navigate real-time railway updates.

Applicants will be able to work under pressure and timed conditions.

A valid in-date DBS check is required.

Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
