We are currently recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work across schools in the Blackpool area. This is a rewarding, full-time, term-time-only opportunity supporting pupils who present with SEMH needs and may require additional emotional and behavioural support.The Role:Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, including those with behavioural and emotional challengesProviding 1:1 and small group support, both in and out of the classroomHelping pupils regulate emotions and engage positively in learningAssisting in the creation of a safe, structured, and supportive environmentWorking closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and SENCOsAbout You:Experience in care work, youth work, support work, or a similar background is highly desirableExperience supporting individuals with SEMH, behavioural needs, or additional needs is beneficialCalm, patient, and resilient under pressureStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAble to de-escalate challenging situations in a professional mannerA genuine passion for supporting young people to overcome barriers to learningThis is an excellent opportunity for ..... full job details .....
