Class 2 Driver

We are looking to recruit a Class 2 driver for our-client based in Wednesbury.-The hours of-work are generally 07:00am-16:30pm Monday to Friday, but this can change due to traffic, hold ups and other situations that will affect your finish time. The vacancy for this Class-2 driver-is a multi drop role doing between 5-20-drops per day depending on the distance you travel and the run you are on. There is some handball involved but not too extensive or heavy,-you will be driving a Class 2 curtain sided vehicle and you will be required to strap the load before leaving the depot and after each drop..

This class 2-driver vacancy starts off temoporary but a permanent contract will be offered to right driver.-You will need a friendly approach to the-customers and your colleagues and-you will need a current Class 2 Driving-licence complete with an up-to-date CPC and tachograph card. The position has become available due to a long serving driver retiring.

Please note this is a PAYE roll and the pay rate above will accrue holiday pay as you work which will-be used to pay you when you are off an annual leave, and after a short trial period an option to-enrol-into the company pension scheme.
