About the Role

The Class 2 ADR Tanker Driver role based in Ellesmere Port involves multi-drop deliveries to farms and commercial sites, operating under night shift patterns from roughly 3pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work. This temporary position with Manpower UK pays £17.13 per hour for a guaranteed 42.5-hour week, rising to £25.70 for overtime and weekend shifts, plus a £20 nightly bonus and performance bonuses up to £1,000 every six months. You will handle tanker operations safely, maintain professional service standards, and complete some shunting duties. Full PPE, free parking, and training are provided. Flexible Shifts: Monday - Friday shift pattern starting at around 3pm. Some weekend shifts are required in busy time and are paid at overtime

Responsibilities:

Delivering exceptional customer service.
Ensuring safe and professional operations in line with client standards.
Multi drop tanker deliveries to farms and commercial premises. Some shunting work to another depot is also required.

Requirements:

Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, DCPC card
ADR licence in class 2 in tanks
Familiarity with drivers'' hours legislation and tachographs.
Successful candidates require a DBS check.

Details:

New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant truck / HGV licences are welcome to apply.
The role is due to start in August and will run until around the end of April 2027 (weather dependant).
For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
