Class 2 Driver

Location:-Widnes / North West
Pay:14.87 per hour
Hours:-Up to 46 hours per week
Shift:-Monday to Friday, starting between 5am and 6am

We are currently recruiting for-Class 2 HGV Refuse Drivers-to join a busy waste and recycling operation based in-Widnes.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver looking for a-temp-to-perm position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

• Driving Class 2 refuse collection vehicles
• Collecting household and commercial waste
• Working across the North West
• Monday to Friday shifts
• Start times between-5am and 6am
• Finishing by-5pm at the latest, normally earlier
• Maximum-12-hour shifts
• No tramping or overnight stays
• Completing all allocated jobs before finishing for the day

Requirements

• Valid-Class 2 (Cat C) licence
• Minimum-6 months'' Class 2 driving experience
• Good understanding of driver hours and road safety
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working outdoors and as part of a team
• Willing to complete an induction before starting

• Weekends not normally required while temporary; weekend work may apply if you move onto a permanent contract
