Class 1 Night Driver

Driver Hire Newark & Grantham is recruiting a Class 1 HGV Night Driver for one of our valued clients based in the Newark area.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable HGV driver looking for regular Monday to Friday night work, competitive pay rates and ongoing assignments.

The role involves general trunking work to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs), using refrigerated trailers.

Class 1 experience is preferred but not essential, making this a potential opportunity for drivers looking to build their experience.

The Role

• Monday to Friday night shifts

• 18:00 starts

• General trunking work to RDCs

• Working with refrigerated trailers

• Competitive hourly pay rates

• Ongoing work available

Pay Rates

• Basic rate: From -20.00 per hour

• Overtime rate: -30.00 per hour

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence

• An in-date Driver CPC qualification

• An in-date digital tachograph card

• Valid proof of your right to work in the UK

• A reliable and professional approach to work

Previous Class 1 experience is preferred but not essential.
