Class 1 Driver

Driver Hire Newark and Grantham are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of our clients carrying out palletised deliveries across the UK. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, giving the successful driver the chance to move into a permanent position with the client following a successful period working through Driver Hire. The Role Driving a Class 1 vehicle carrying out palletised deliveries across the UK Monday to Friday 7:00am starts Delivering palletised goods to customers Professional, customer-facing role Regular ongoing work Opportunity to move into a permanent position All breaks are unpaid Pay 18.75 per hour assignment rate Overtime paid daily after 8 hours 28.12 per hour overtime rate Requirements To be considered for this role, you must: Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence Have an in-date CPC Have an in-date Digital Tachograph Card Have the right to work in the UK Have a professional attitude and good customer service skills If you''re an experienced Class 1 driver looking for regular Monday-Friday work with a 7:00am start and the opportunity to secure a permanent position, we''d love to hear from you. ..... full job details .....
