About the Role

As a Class 1 Driver based in Kingston Upon Hull, you will operate modern curtain-sided vehicles for a global logistics firm. This temporary position offers a Monday-to-Friday schedule with bank holidays off, supporting an excellent work-life balance. Start times fall between 4am and 6am. You will deliver timber to builders’ merchants, handling between one and six drops daily. Securely strapping goods and complying with FORS Gold standards are essential duties. The role pays £16.40 to £18.00 per hour. Applicants should possess significant Class 1 driving experience, though those with several months of solid experience will be considered.

Deliver timber to builders'' merchants, with an average of 4-6 drops per day (sometimes as few as 1-2).
Ensure goods are securely strapped before journeys.
Operate in compliance with FORS Gold level safety standards.

Requirements:

Valid LGV C+E Licence.
Up-to-date CPC and DIGI card.
Maximum of 6 points on your licence.
No DD, DR, or IN endorsements.
All drivers must pass an on-site assessment.
