Earnings: From -17.83ph up to -52.20ph

Class 1 Driver Opportunity

Join Gi Group supporting one of the UK''s biggest supermarkets, as a Class 1 Driver. This isn''t just seasonal help; we are looking for professional drivers for a long-term partnership in, Lutterworth. You will play a vital role in keeping the nation fed by delivering to stores and petrol stations across the region.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Delivering both chilled and ambient loads stored in cages or palletised

- 1-3 store deliveries , this can be ambient or chilled loads

- Conducting thorough vehicle checks and maintaining accurate digital tachograph records.

- Drivers must drive as per clients professional standards which you will be coached and trained on

- Ability to manage your Working Time Directive, and Driving Hours rules and Regulations in order to meet compliance expectations, and avoid infringement

- Acting as a professional face of the brand when arriving at stores

Shifts :

- Daily and Weekly Bookings

- Various start times available AM and PM

- Minimum 1 weekend day availability is a must

- Weekend only work available

- Full time and part time opportunities

Benefits & Pay Rates :

- Automatic pay rises at 12 and 27 weeks

- Double pay on Bank Holidays (up to -52.20ph)

- Increased holiday entitlement once first 12 weeks is completed

- Overtime after 45 hours, paid on weekly basis

Bacs 14:00-22:00 : STD -20.71ph & Overtime -28.47ph

Nights 22:00-06:00 : STD -22.34ph & Overtime -30.09ph

WK 12 Rates - Please note the below includes your advanced holiday pay

Days 06:00-14:00 : STD -19.42ph & Overtime -27.35ph

Backs 14:00-22:00 : STD -23.02ph & Overtime -30.95ph

Nights 22:00-06:00 : STD -24.96ph & Overtime -32.88ph

WK27 Rates - Please note the below includes your advanced holiday pay

Days 06:00-14:00 : STD -20.57ph & Overtime -28.50ph

Backs 14:00-22:00 : STD -24.81ph & Overtime -32.09ph

Nights 22:00-06:00 : STD -26.10ph & Overtime -34.03ph

Class 1 Driver Requirements

- Valid UK Driver Cards (Driving Licence, CPC and DIGI Cards)

- Minimum 6 months Class 1 licence + 6 months Class 1 driving experience

- Previous experience in store deliveries would be preferred, but is not essential

- Max 6 penalty points accepted for minor offences (no DR or DD offences)

- Availability to work weekends is essential for this 24/7 operation

- Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as an attention to detail
