Civils Section Engineer (Contract)Location: West London, close to a major international airportAbout the OpportunityOur client is a leading construction contractor with a long-standing presence on a major UK transport hub, delivering complex infrastructure projects to high standards of quality, safety and environmental performance. Working under a long-term framework, they deliver design and build projects across both airside and landside areas, including pavement rehabilitation, critical utilities replacement and the redevelopment of operational areas. The programme is ongoing, with further major resurfacing works in planning. Work is carefully planned around critical live assets, with close engagement across a wide range of stakeholders.The RoleYou will manage a section of the construction works, ensuring successful delivery in line with client requirements, programme objectives and business targets, while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, quality, environmental compliance and cost control. Overseeing multiple work packages, you will work closely with the commercial team, site engineers, surveyors and wider stakeholders to deliver safely, efficiently and to specification.Key ResponsibilitiesLead by example in promoting a strong health, safety and environmental cultureSupervise subcontractors, engineers and the workforce, ensuring approved RAMS and construction methods are followedReview and verify setting out for accuracy and complianceMentor ..... full job details .....
