Civil Design Engineers - London

Our client is seeking Civil Design Engineers to work within the water sector on a contract basis with projects based in London. This exciting opportunity involves working on a variety of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, including clean water and waste water projects.

• Developing detailed designs for both infra and non infra water projects
• Working on multiple frameworks including STW, Thames, Anglian, Southern, and Southwest Water
• Collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and stakeholders
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and regulations
• Providing technical support during project implementation
• Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
• Utilising relevant design software to create efficient and innovative solutions
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices

• Experience in civil design engineering within the water sector
• Strong technical skills in civil engineering principles
• Proficiency with relevant engineering design software
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
• Understanding of IR35 arrangements and hybrid working conditions
