This consultancy is an award winning, multi-disciplinary design consultancy who have a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer with demonstrable consultancy experience of S278 in a general infrastructure background to join our collaborative and growing Transport Engineering team.The roleYour key duties will involve the preparation of detailed design, feasibility studies and scheme reports on a variety of projects. Alongside this, you will also have the opportunity to take responsibility for project management, budgeting, producing bill of quantities, and costings.Responsibilities

Provide assurance that scheme designs comply with specification and agreed programmeWork to ensure designs comply with health and safety regulations and CDM requirementsAlongside colleagues, ensure designs are assessed for environmental impactsManage relationships with clients, stakeholders and third partiesCoordinate with other team members associated with the designSupport junior team members working on projectsAbout us

We are looking for an Engineer with consulting experience around the design and management of the Section 278/38 process, as well as:Sound knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges and Manual for StreetsAbility to engage and conduct effective negotiations with client, stakeholders, subcontractors and third partiesDetailed understanding of Health and Safety legislationCompetent in use of Civils 3DTo Apply
