This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service supporting children and young people in a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment. We''re looking for experienced, resilient and compassionate individuals who are passionate about making a lasting difference to the lives of children with complex needs. The Role As a Children''s Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people who may display challenging behaviours, experience mental health difficulties and have experienced trauma, including those who have previously lived in foster care or other care settings. You''ll play a vital role in helping each child feel safe, valued and supported while promoting their emotional wellbeing, independence and personal development. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, child-centred care and support. Build positive, trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries. Support children who display challenging behaviour using positive behaviour support strategies. Promote emotional wellbeing and resilience through a therapeutic approach. Help children develop independence and essential life skills. Follow individual care plans, behaviour support plans and risk assessments.
