Children''s Social Worker - Localities TeamLocation: South East EnglandPay rate per hour: £40 per hourWorking Arrangement: Full Time Hours, Hybrid Working (2-3 Days from Home)Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Children''s Social Worker to join a busy Localities Team within a Local Authority in South East England.This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to work with children, young people and families, undertaking a varied caseload while benefiting from flexible hybrid working arrangements.Key Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of children and families requiring support and intervention.Complete assessments, child protection investigations and care planning.Undertake Child in Need, Child Protection and Looked After Children work.Develop and review plans to ensure positive outcomes for children and young people.Work closely with partner agencies, schools, health professionals and other stakeholders.Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings and court proceedings where required.Maintain accurate case records and ensure statutory responsibilities are met.Requirements:Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.Previous experience within Children''s Services, ideally within a Localities or Safeguarding Team.Strong assessment, report-writing and case management skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and partnership-working abilities.Why work through Pertemps?By applying ..... full job details .....
