Children with Disabilities Social worker

Halton Borough council are looking for social workers to join their children with disabilities service!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the needs of disabled children with complex needs, ensuring child-centred and outcome-focused planning.
• Produce and review Child in Need plans, working in partnership with children, families, and professionals.
• Carry out statutory responsibilities, including visiting children in overnight settings to ensure they are:

• Safeguarded effectively.
• Receiving quality personal care.
• Offered a range of enriching activities and opportunities to support their development.

Requirements as a Social Worker include:

• SWE Registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Drive and have access to a car
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
