Team Manager

in the

Children with Disabilities Team .

We are seeking a highly motivated, reflective, and creative professional to provide leadership and direction to the Children with Disabilities Team based at

The Portal, Ellesmere Port . The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative working.Essential qualification:

A professional social work qualification.The team operates on a hybrid working arrangement supporting work-life balance through flexible working from home and our council offices in Ellesmere Port. We work with children and their families who have complex health needs and disabilities across the Cheshire West and Chester borough, so some travel will be required.The post holder will be a key part of the Disabled Children and Young People’s service, demonstrating leadership while supporting young people and their families.Our Children''s Social Care workforce is passionate about improving outcomes for children. We have embedded ‘Our Ways of Working’ with our service and multi-agency partners, promoting improved collaboration and a unified approach to practice, utilizing Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Practice. Social workers are encouraged to work creatively with children and families to achieve positive outcomes.
