Salary & Benefits

£12.21 per hour (Unqualified with childcare experience)

£13.57 per hour (Seniors – Level 3 Qualified)

£70 per sleep bonus

Shift pattern: 2 days on, 4 days off
Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and resilient individuals to join us as a Children Support Worker. You will provide high-quality care, therapeutic support, and a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people in our residential homes.
Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day care, supervision, and guidance as a Children Support Worker.

Support children with EBD, SEMH, and trauma in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and independence.

Build strong, trusting relationships in your role as a Children Support Worker.

Implement person-centred care plans and therapeutic strategies in line with our recovery model.

Maintain a safe, welcoming, and supportive home environment as a Children Support Worker.

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, social workers, and education staff.

Take part in training and continuous development to excel as a Children Support Worker.

Ensure safeguarding, compliance, and best practice are followed at all times.
Requirements

Experience working in a residential children’s home is essential.

NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (preferred).

Valid driving licence. MUST!!

Strong knowledge of EBD, SEMH, and trauma.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and resilience skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins as a Children Support Worker.
