Streatham and Clapham Prep School , you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and delivery of meals for both the prep school and nursery. You will lead a small, dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and service are maintained.Location:

£38,000 per annum (Term-time, 39 weeks, 190 days)Responsibilities

Oversee food preparation and meal service for the prep school and nurseryLead and manage a small team of 4-6 staffEnsure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and health and safety are maintainedPlan and develop menus that meet the needs of students and staffManage stock control and order supplies as neededControl food budgets and ensure cost-effective operationsEnsure meals are nutritious, balanced, and cater to dietary requirementsMonitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness and organizationMaintain a positive, collaborative working environment within the kitchen teamQualifications

Experience in a similar chef or kitchen management roleLevel 3 Food Safety and Hygiene certification (or equivalent)Strong leadership and team management skillsKnowledge of dietary requirements and allergen managementExcellent organizational and time-management abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesDBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)Passion for quality food and a commitment to high standards of serviceAdditional Information
