Chef – Full Time – Luxury Retirement Home – AV1953C
Location: Chipping Norton, Oxford
Pay: £35,360.00 Per Annum 
Hours: 25.5 – 34 Hours per Week

Our client is a highly regarded elderly care provider based near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, offering high-quality residential care within a warm and welcoming environment. They are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join their dedicated team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals while making a genuine difference to the lives of older people.

The Role

As Chef, you will be responsible for delivering freshly prepared, nutritionally balanced meals that cater to residents’ individual dietary needs and preferences.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality meals for residents
  • Planning varied and nutritious menus
  • Catering for dietary requirements and special nutritional needs
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
  • Managing stock control and food ordering
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
  • Working closely with the care team to provide an excellent dining experience
  • Creating a positive and welcoming mealtime environment for residents

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, organised, and committed to delivering an excellent service.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous chef or cook experience within a care home, healthcare, or hospitality setting
  • Knowledge of dietary requirements for older people
  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • A caring and team-focused approach
  • The ability to work independently and under pressure
  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality meals and service
