Catering Assistant

KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Catering Assistant for our client based in Gloucester.

The days and hours as a Catering Assistant are:

• 5 out of 7 days per week
• 08:00- 15:00

The rate of pay as a Catering Assistant is:

• £12.71 p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Catering Assistant are:

• Preparing and serving food and drinks to staff
• Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Setting up and cleaning tables and serving areas
• Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen and canteen clean and tidy
• Following Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Procedures
• Assisting with food preparation when required
• Replenishing food, drinks and supplies
• Working as part of a friendly catering team
• Providing good customer service at all times

The ideal candidate for a Catering Assistant would need:

• Maintain the highest standards of Food Hygiene and cleanliness
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety Level 2
• Ensure safe storage food products and chemicals
• Follow all company policies relating to Health and Safety, Infection Control and Safeguarding
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene regulations and Food Safety standards
• Previous catering or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Able to work in a busy environment
• Ability to work well independently and under pressure
