About the Role

Berkeley Scott seeks School Catering Assistants - Temp - Cirencester to support busy school kitchens across the town and nearby areas. Working daytime, term-time friendly shifts, successful applicants assist with food preparation, serve meals to pupils, and help maintain clean, hygienic dining spaces. Reliability, hard work, and a genuine interest in school catering suit this temporary post. Candidates must hold or be willing to obtain a current Enhanced DBS certificate. Weekly pay applies, with holiday pay accrued, plus ongoing assignments across primary, secondary, and academy settings. A supportive agency team provides guidance throughout each placement.

We are currently recruiting Temporary Catering Assistants to join busy school catering teams around Cirencester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone reliable, hardworking, and passionate about working within school catering environments.

PLEASE NOTE: You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a CURRENT Enhanced DBS certificate to be considered for school roles.
Locations: Primary schools, secondary schools, and academies acrossandnbsp;Cirencester and nearby areas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with food preparation
- Serving meals to students and staff
- Maintaining high levels of kitchen hygiene
- Cleaning and clearing kitchen and dining areas
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
andnbsp;- Previous catering or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
andnbsp;- Experience in school or contract catering (desirable)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, reliable, and organised approach
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
