Berkeley-Scott is recruiting experienced Chef Managers to join our agency team for exciting opportunities across schools and a variety of catering businesses in and around Canterbury starting in September.

Key responsibilities:


  • Managing the day-to-day running of busy kitchens
  • Leading, motivating and supporting kitchen teams
  • Planning and delivering high-quality, nutritious meals
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health andamp; safety and allergen standards
  • Managing stock, ordering and minimising waste
  • Ensuring kitchens operate efficiently and meet client expectations

What we''re looking for:


  • A minimum of 2 years'' experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar kitchen management role
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • Experience working within schools or contract catering is desirable
  • Two satisfactory references
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage, but is not essential
