JD.COMWe are seeking an ambitious and driven Category Manager to build our UK Consumer Electronics product assortment, providing the best selection of items for our UK consumers at the best price. The ideal candidate will have experience in category management and building meaningful supplier relationships to ensure the optimum product offering is developed for our customers. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and shape category strategies and contribute to the growth of a new and dynamic e-commerce business.Key Responsibilities

Support the end-to-end category management process within the Consumer Electronics product assortment.Support the category leader in developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with national and local supply partners.Analyse key metrics and range gaps to derive strategies to improve supplier and category performance.Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.Assist in developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, including pricing structures and promotional campaigns.Develop long-term category strategies that are fit for the local market to drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth in key category KPIs.Engage cross-departmentally with supply chain, app development, and marketing to deliver best-in-class service to customers.Qualifications

Merchandising or buying experience within consumer electronics or related categories.Understanding of consumers, with market insights and purchasing expertise.Exceptional analytical abilities, data sensitivity, and logical thinking.Effective communicator with a passion for continuous learning.Highly driven, innovative, team-oriented, and committed to aligning personal contributions with organisational goals.What We Offer
