Salary: -16.33ph
Working Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9-5)

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Work & Referral Officer to join their dynamic team in Hackney. This role is pivotal in supporting veterans at risk of homelessness and aims to make a significant impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for inquiries, efficiently managing the referral process.
• Conduct initial assessments of veterans'' housing status and identify root causes of their insecurity.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate access to appropriate accommodation and support services.
• Maintain accurate records of all referral and case management activities, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to empower veterans, guiding them towards positive choices and support pathways.

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A solid understanding of the barriers faced by vulnerable homeless individuals with complex needs.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• A caring, flexible, and resilient attitude, with a strong desire to make a difference.
• High attention to detail and competent administrative skills, including proficiency in IT.
