You will play a key role in ensuring the premises are safe, secure, clean, and well maintained, supporting the smooth running of the school for staff and pupils.This is a hands-on role requiring initiative, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility, including periods of lone working.Key ResponsibilitiesSite Security Open and secure school buildings dailyCarry out regular site inspections, including weather-related checksRespond to emergencies and take appropriate actionSupport site security and risk assessments Maintenance and Grounds Undertake minor repairs, decorating, and general maintenanceCarry out basic groundskeeping (litter picking, sweeping, gritting, clearing pathways and car parks)Monitor site condition and report or address hazards promptlyAssist with refurbishment and improvement worksEnsure equipment is safe, maintained, and compliant Cleaning and Contractors Support and supervise the cleaning team, including rotasCarry out cleaning duties when requiredOversee contractors on site, ensuring compliance with school procedures Health and Safety ..... full job details .....
