We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and proactive Caretaker to join our school team based in Swaffham. The successful candidate will help ensure our school premises are safe, clean, secure, and well maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.Key ResponsibilitiesOpening and locking the school premises dailyCarrying out basic maintenance and minor repairsEnsuring the cleanliness and safety of the school groundsMonitoring heating, lighting, and security systemsSetting up rooms and equipment for school activities and eventsLiaising with contractors and reporting maintenance issuesSupporting health and safety procedures across the siteRequirementsPractical maintenance or care taking experience preferredGood DIY and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyFriendly, trustworthy, and dependable natureAwareness of health and safety standardsThis role requires an Enhanced DBS checkWorking HoursThis is a split-shift role:Morning shift: 7:30am - 9:00amEvening shift: 2:30pm - 6:00pmApply online for further details ..... full job details .....
