Care Home Cook / Chef Full Time 5 Days, 8 Hours/Day MCG is recruiting a passionate Cook/Chef to join a friendly care home team. Create nutritious, home-cooked meals that make a real difference to elderly residents lives. What We re Looking For: Passion for high-quality meals and fresh ingredients Empathy and patience with residents Experience in catering, preferably in healthcare (training provided) Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2+) Your Role: Prepare meals from a four-week rotating menu Cater for special diets (IDDSI, diabetic, religious preferences, fortified meals) Maintain kitchen cleanliness, stock, and compliance with food safety Supervise kitchen assistants What We Offer: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day, typical hours 7am 3pm, alternate weekends Supportive team environment and ongoing training A chance to make a meaningful impact every day If you re ready to use your culinary skills to enhance residents wellbeing, we d love to hear from you.You ll provide a high-quality food service that enhances residents wellbeing and contributes to their overall positive experience of living in the Home.
