Care Assistant - Part Time at PrimeLife Ltd. This role is based at Phoenix Park Care Village, Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire. The Care Village serves 146 residents with a range of age-related health conditions, physical disabilities and mental health conditions, including dementia. Candidates should be patient, understanding and respectful of residents’ individual abilities.Responsibilities

Assisting residents with personal hygiene and choosing an outfit for the daySupporting residents to dine at mealtimes and maintain good nutrition and hydrationEncouraging residents to mobilise safely around the home with mobility aids and equipmentProviding friendship and companionship, and accompanying residents on social outings or appointmentsMaintaining accurate, timely written records and completing documentationWorking as part of a multi-disciplinary care team to promote residents’ health and well-beingWelcoming family members to the home and assisting with enquiriesWhat we’re looking for

You should have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for residents. Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided. Many residents have dementia; understanding of dementia would be beneficial.
