Care Dorset is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to provide support for adults at Ferndown Plus Day Centre. You will be part of an experienced team responsible for delivering activities and stimulating experiences for people with a range of additional needs. You may support individuals or groups within the service or in the wider community.Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Assist the relevant client group in practical tasks, including shopping and community activities to promote independence.Provide personal care and one-to-one support as required.Maintain dignity, privacy and respect of clients.Maintain essential records with brief written notes on individual client records.Undertake domestic tasks such as cleaning and laundry.Comply with Health and Safety requirements including manual handling and infection control.Participate in organised activities to meet client needs, such as excursions, basic food preparation and domestic tasks.Act as a keyworker as required.Work within the Gold Standards Framework.Other duties as required related to the team’s function.Driving licence and vehicle access helpful but not essential.About You
