This means that you will need to drive and have your own vehicle to work for us.While many companies only pay Care Assistants for contact time, we believe that you should be paid for every minute that you work. That''s why we pay our carers for travel time and mileage too.Roles and Responsibilities of a Care Assistant

Including but not limited to:Providing personal careAdministering medicationManual handling - using equipment where requiredPromoting customer health and wellbeingProviding companionship and help with activities/appointmentsPlanning, preparing and cooking mealsShopping and undertaking domestic tasks around the homeYour Experience and Suitability for the Care Assistant Role

Previous experience as a carer isn''t necessary. We will provide you with all the training and support you will need, together with ongoing coaching/mentoring.To become a Bluebird Care Assistant, you will need:A full and valid UK driving licenceAccess to a car/vehicleThe right to work in the UK (unfortunately we cannot provide sponsorship)An excellent level of EnglishTo be aged 18+Because We Care About You
