Candidate Assessment Officer

Our client has an opportunity for an Interviewer/Assessor to join them on a permanent basis.

As an Interviewer/Assessor, you will be responsible for the implementation of both physical and psychometric assessment activities under strict test conditions. The application of a detailed marking guide to ensure candidates are graded in accordance with their ability.

Role: Interviewer/Assessor
Location: Woking - fully onsite
Clearance: Must be able to qualify for BPSS security requirements
Salary: -27,820 + Night Allowance of -85.95 per night
Hours: 37.5 hours per week over a 7-day period. This will include overnight chaperone and ''on call'' duties once per week

What you''ll be doing:

• Briefing and delivering all cognitive assessment activities under test conditions
• Contributing to an un-biased test environment for all assessment activities
• Assessing candidates against fixed criteria
• Providing feedback on a candidate''s performance at assessment, their assessment outcome and their next steps in the recruitment process
• Conducting individual career discussions with candidates
• Writing accurate reports to assist recruiters and Basic Training Instructors to understand the candidate''s strengths and weaknesses

Requirements:

• Interview experience preferred
• Great people skills
• Full driving license
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• The ability to nurture and mentor candidates
• IT proficiency
• Excellent Team Player
• Familiarity with Army Careers, would be an advantage
• Organised approach
• Strong attention to detail
• Good MS Office skills
