Campus Manager (Senior Facilities Manager) - CCW

University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking to appoint a Campus Manager to lead the facilities management operations across the Camberwell, Lime Grove and Wimbledon campuses.UAL is a global leader in creativity, innovation, and invention across the knowledge economy. With a vibrant, multicultural community of over 20,000 students from more than 130 countries, UAL fosters an inclusive and dynamic environment that nurtures the next generation of creative talent. A 10-year Estates Strategy will deliver new campuses for London College of Fashion (completed in 2024) and London College of Communication (to be completed in 2027), alongside estate transformation across the existing portfolio to ensure the UAL estate is fit for purpose, sustainable, and provides world-class facilities and experience to students, staff, and partners. A new team with approximately 25 roles in Estate Development and Facilities Management will support this investment.Responsibilities
Act as the key operational lead on site, ensuring the effective delivery of facilities services.Oversee both directly employed facilities staff and contracted service providers to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services that meet health and safety requirements and support UAL’s strategic goals.Manage the daily operations of facilities management, including cleaning, maintenance, security, and building services.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure services meet campus needs, drive improvements, ensure compliance, and develop best-practice policies.Support campus projects and contribute to business continuity planning.Lead the facilities management response to on-site incidents.Qualifications and skills
Exceptional knowledge and a strong track record in delivering and leading best-in-class facilities management services, particularly in dynamic, high-footfall and multisite environments.Adept at building relationships with senior stakeholders and a customer-centric, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to inspire and motivate teams and uphold high standards.Deep understanding of health and safety, building compliance, budget management, and project delivery.How to apply
