We are seeking a proactive and hands-on CAD Project Coordinator to support the delivery of projects from initial enquiry through to completion. This is a varied role that combines CAD design work with project coordination, client communication, and operational support.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers, suppliers, warehouse staff, and the wider team to ensure projects run smoothly and are completed on time.
Key Responsibilities
•    Producing CAD drawings and technical designs, ideally within a sheet metal manufacturing environment
•    Liaising with customers to discuss project requirements and provide updates
•    Working alongside warehouse and production teams to ensure projects progress efficiently
•    Chasing quotations and managing supplier communications
•    Supporting the end-to-end management of projects from enquiry through to delivery
•    Assisting with scheduling and coordinating project timelines
•    Ensuring drawings and project documentation are accurately maintained
•    Monitoring project progress and resolving issues where required
•    Providing general operational support across the business
•    Occasionally assisting with preparing and dispatching pallets when required
•    Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues to deliver excellent service
Requirements
•    Previous CAD drawing experience – ideally Sheet metal design experience
•    Experience working within a manufacturing environment
•    Strong communication and organisational skills
•    Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
•    A proactive and flexible approach to work
•    Excellent attention to detail
