Roles and Responsibilities Producing 2D CAD drawings and flat patterns using SolidWorksProgramming CNC laser cutting machines within agreed production timescalesNesting drawings to maximise material usage and production efficiencyCreating and maintaining accurate CAD/CAM programs for manufacturingSupporting the fabrication team with folding, forming and assembly instructionsReviewing and improving existing programs to increase efficiency and reduce wasteWorking closely with production teams to ensure smooth manufacturing processes Requirements Experience working as a CAD Programmer, CAD/CAM Programmer or similarStrong experience with 2D CAD and SolidWorksBackground in laser cutting, sheet metal or fabricationExperience with CAD/CAM programming and nesting softwareFamiliarity with Trumpf lasers is highly desirableExperience with Lantek, Oseon or TruTops software would be beneficialAbility to read ..... full job details .....
