About the Role
Pertemps Edinburgh Contracts is seeking a C2 Bin Lorry Driver for temporary, full-time work in Edinburgh. Operating from the EH11 4HD depot, this role involves collecting and transporting waste and recyclables along designated routes. The position offers either a 4-days-on, 4-days-off pattern (06:00-17:02) or Tuesday to Friday (06:00-16:45), with a 45-minute unpaid break. Pay ranges from £16.30 to £17.61 per hour, with immediate starts available. Key responsibilities include safely operating the vehicle, performing routine maintenance checks, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and delivering courteous customer service to the public. Applicants must hold a valid HGV C2 licence, a CPC qualification, and a Digital Tachograph card; previous similar experience is preferred.

Requirements:

- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
