C++ (with QT) Software Engineer required for long term contract assignment in Bristol Skillset/experience required: A strong background in software engineering, its realisation and system wide impact.Experience of working in C++ and QTCollaborative, open approach to application development and have the ability to maintain momentum during development.Experience of working across the entire software development process from engaging with requirement authorities to automated proving, supported with effective documentationExperience of new tools, techniques and approaches that might enable us to evolve our processes to improve our efficiency and sustainabilityExperience in other languages such as Ada, QTKnowledge of DDS and multi-threaded applications.Knowledge of standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C or IEC61508 and restricted coding standards such as MISRA C++ Responsibilities:To produce a software Console product, replacing an existing version with better software architecture making the product more maintainable and verifiable going forward.
