Buyer LOCATION: Warrington Permanent, Full-Time Immediate Start Available Please note: This role is based in Warrington and applicants must be able to commute to or relocate to the area. Apple Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider of support services, for a permanent Buyer position based at their Head Office in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to join a well-established organisation and play a key role in sourcing and procuring engineering, facilities and manufacturing equipment spare parts and services for a diverse customer base. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for ensuring continuity of supply, negotiating the best commercial terms with suppliers, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers'' maintenance and technical teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Respond to purchase requisitions for both ad-hoc (spot buy) and inventory-controlled items in a timely manner. 2. Source and procure engineering, facilities and manufacturing equipment spare parts and services. 3. Raise and manage purchase orders within company systems. 4. Expedite supplier deliveries and update delivery promise dates. 5. Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery of goods. 6.
