This is an excellent opportunity for someone with purchasing or procurement experience who can build strong supplier relationships, negotiate competitive pricing and ensure materials are available when needed to meet production demands. You will play an important role in managing inventory, improving supplier performance and supporting the wider business in achieving its cost, quality and delivery objectives. The successful candidate will be confident working in a time-pressured environment, balancing competing priorities while ensuring purchasing decisions deliver the best overall value. Commutable from Walsall, Lichfield and Wolverhampton. Key Responsibilities - Buyer Manage day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure materials and components are procured cost-effectively and delivered on time. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules. Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation and improved purchasing terms.
